Immersion constantly broken by players with silly names wearing multicolored armor.
Poor performance
Glitches (dead bodies in cities, crashes)
Boring story forced on me
The fact that the sky always seems to be cloudy no matter where I am
I keep trying to get into it, and I don't know if the fact that its an MMO is topping me, but I feel no connection to the world, no real consequences, no freedom to do what I want. Many people say that later game content is where its at, but I cant even bring myself to trudge through to that point.

The awkward moment you make some decent character names and they force you to use your ps4 name. I love having to quest next to pwnsurmom420.
Sigh...

Let's see:
- removal of forward camps
- people running around in zergs spamming healing springs and impulse
- dying to invisible veils and banners because client can't be bothered to render all the visual effects because, again, zergs
- grind
- new ultimate generation system
- burning oils no longer working on ground
- poor performance in cyro
- random crashes
- keep doors not working
- grind
- nerfing certain abilities into uselessness because 'nerf' apparently means 'annihilate' to zos
- half of the abilities hitting for half of your health
- entire CP system
- more grind
- certain bugs taking over a year to fix
- zos doing the exact opposite of what they promise they're gonna do
- people complaining just for the sake of complaining
- no variety to pvp, not even dueling option
- PVE
I'm sure I missed a few things but that's what comes to mind at the moment.

Being openminded is cool and all. In Skyrim I could avoid anything I thought was too evil for my preferences, but not here in ESO.
To me the game ESO is overwhelmingly evil, and in so many obvious and also in subtle ways. Soul Gems... got to be the most evil system of mana/power management I ever saw in a video game, and it's downright impossible to avoid using them in ESO. Sorcerer's pets only deadra (who we are supposedly trying to fight), the skills themselves of most classes (don't need to be a Vamp when you are a NB, the standard self heal IMO is just a vampire skill), our status as a "soul shriven", too much emphasis on vampire and werewolf, as well as many others too numerous to list.
I tried to give this game a good go at it, tried to be open minded... the game has it's fun parts for sure... but to me evil is evil no matter what dress it wears. Evil sexy is still evil and I have no taste for it. I even tried playing just Templars but even that feels like I am just pretending to be good. I don't want to just pretend to be a good guy in a video game, I want my character to be a good guy, not just "another kind of evil".
That is why I hardly play at all anymore and have given up any desire to make it anywhere near 50.

you understand trophies mean absolutely nothing right? not knocking you or anything, but to dislike a game for making a imaginary reward hard to get seems odd to me.

And then they have the nerve to tell us that a name is already taken...
