Sandshark95✭✭✭I'd vote ranged Templar for a stamina bow build and a ranged DK mage for a magicka destro/resto staff build. It really depends on player style and the choice of either a magicka or stamina focus.0 -
PhatGrimReaper✭✭✭✭✭The best DK Magicka Builds are actually Melee ranged casters.... their strength lays in the share number of DoTs in the DK skill trees, however the majority of these DoT Skills are melee ranged abilities.

WyldfireWyrm✭✭✭DK really isn't a ranged class. It has 1-2 DPS abilities that have a range higher than 10 meters. So by definition, Templar is the best ranged class.
So really this post needs to be redefined. It should either be, which weapon line is the best ranged DPS , or which class has the best class DPS?
Templar and DK both have great stamina DPS. DK beats Templar in magicka DPS. Destro staff is the best magicka ranged weapon while bow is the best stamina ranged weapon.1 -

My Templar actually gets more ranged damage while dual wielding.... Templar Class skills are way better than the destro staff abilities for damage output and dual wield provides more spell damage than a staff, so you really don't even need a staff to be an effective Templar Magicka DPS.Fat Grim Reaper - (m)Dragon Knight AR28
