Hello, do killed NPCs respawn?
Another question : is it possible to a NPC to disappear after being hit? I mean, I can't find Jardirr anymore. She was in the Rift, at Boulderfall Pass, and I accidentally hit her, and when I came back she was no more here.

Jardirr gives you a reward for completing the quest "Smoke on the Horizon". But she's no longer here for me. Can you still see her after this quest?0

npc's should respawn, but sometimes quests can bug and prevent an npc from spawning as part of a quest chain.0 -
Nothing to do with the scout, I completed the quest and Captain Jardirr gave me the reward. I hit her after this (accidentally), so I ran away but when I came back to the Boulderfall Pass, she was no longer here. I didn't kill her because I don't have the "Murderer" success, so I'm just wondering where is she.
Could anyone tell me if she's still at the Boulderfall Pass after the quest please?

Im not familiar with rift but alot of times npcs move to new locations when you turn in, hitting her might of prevented her saying bye and running off.
If you didnt complete, try restart --> abandon quest if needed.0 -

The problem is I don't know if dead npcs respawn and I wanted to know if Jardirr will come back or not. And tell her I'm sorry

✭Dead NPCs do indeed respawn, and fairly quickly.
If she's gone, then she was planning to leave anyway.
Also, I am a bit confused. Quest-related NPCs shouldn't ever even be attackable. Are you sure that you even actually hit her?Edited by Divinius on July 9, 2015 4:58PM0 -
I'm not sure if I attacked her OR the guard next to her... Maybe I hit the guard, and she left anyway. If you have done the Boulderfall pass quest, maybe y ou could tell me if she's still here?0

✭I haven't, as my EP character is only level 15, and my DC character hasn't made it that far into Caldwell's Gold yet.
But trust me, you can't attack quest givers, and even if you had, they would respawn anyway.
I'm sure that she is just supposed to disappear after that quest.0 -

I have seen NPCs on the ship at the loading dock, respawn and cheerfully go back to work over their own corpse. Lol.1
