As a favor, they will leave the bag vendors v14 for 2-3 months and not update pvp gear with the major update.

If the scaling remains similar to how it is for veteran rank gear now then the difference between v14 and v16 gear will be quite minimal. Some will argue that they absolutely need that extra 6 magicka regen or 8 spell damage but that's a bit dramatic.

This will be great for up and coming pvpers though because v14 gear will be much cheaper to find.

Some people just like to be perfect for the sake of being perfect though and they will work incredibly hard (or at least long) to get those fractions of percents but that too will drive down the cost of the perfectly fine v14 gear.

I'm no developer or anything but there is pretty much no chance that they will refund your AP after increasing the level cap.

Depends on the gear. Certain sets at yellow vr12 perform better than sets at yellow vr14 and vice versa. Comes down to how they will work the sets into the new lvl caps, etc.

I'd also bet that Imperial City will be v15 and drops from there that level and v16 won't come until Wrothgar. Maybe I'm way off, but I'm betting only crafted gear will get to v16 right away (maybe arena/trials if they scale that up) and we might not even see v16 gear for sale right away in cyrodiil. (Which is probably why the leaked ring someone saw was a v15 ring of cyro light and not v16).

But no, seriously, last sunday i was at roebeck at 11 in the morning and lost 8 sieges to countersiege because dc shot at me all the time , i was the only one of two people that put siege down. About 18 others were standing back spamming rapid regen or just sitting in sneak. So i qq ed in zone, realised nobody cared and went one to make my own group with people in ts and had a good time taking many blue keeps.

In all the time in pvp i have never been in a situation where the gear i was using seemed to matter much. It is far less important than having tactical awareness (i.e knowing when to stack or to flee) or having the right skill like barrier and purge on your bar

I think having legendary gear maybe gives people confidence and lets them do heroic (and often stupid) things

The only difference being nirn gear, i can notice i survive longer and more often since i use that

I like my notebook, but that 0.1% efficiency gain is a must-have.

Well, if you run in a 24-man group to baby-sit you, you might as well run naked too. These days 24-man groups are simply too big to be any challenge.
