Overload Glitch

So Im not sure if anyone else has experienced this, but I am leveling a sorcerer and specced into storm calling. The ultimates description says that light and heavy attacks are enhanced and drain ultimate energy. When I use the move, however, I can keep it on for as long as I want and fire unlimited bolts. This doesn't seem very fair, is anyone else having this happen with overload?

It's how it's supposed to work. You will use up ultimate when you fire off an Overload light or heavy attack.

Maybe the tooltip isn't as clear as it should be.

The OP is saying that overload is not using up ultimate period and that is a bug. I had the same bug as well on PC back around launch. Overload does last quite a while but it is NOT supposed to be infinite. If it never runs out that is a bug. Though it could very well be lag related.

It doesn't seem to be lag related. Ive cleared bosses by just spamming the light attack without using any ultimate energy.

Yes that is a bug and I've experienced it on PC around launch as well. All I can really say is, of all the bugs you can have, that ones probably the easiest to live with haha. If I recall when I had the bug, the heavy attack would spend ultimate but the light attack would not.

Today i leveled a sorc and yes, Overload is really bugged.

Sometimes infinite shots, sometimes it depletes but my weapon doesnt show again, so i stay without weapon nor overload.
A few times it works correctly.

Overload can charge up to 1000%, it about 70 per cast without cost deduction, so with full charged you should able to use at least 14 times before dry out your ultimate.

Also you won't notice the ultimate bar dropping until it drop under 100%, that why u thought its infinite.
