Any chance of making Vicious Ophidian set pieces work in PvP with this new update?

✭I think I remember hearing that would be fixed in the next major update. It was discussed two ESO lives ago.

Currently in every scenario that doesn't involve grinding goblins, using sets like Air or Hunding's Rage is going to outperform Vicious Ophidian.
...though I suppose it doesn't matter, all those Vicious Ophidian pieces I spent hundreds of hours in SO for will be useless for the V14 trash they are.1 -

Well, even V16 version would be useless to be honest, unless other sets go through some drastic changes.
They could make it useful by giving it one more Weapon Damage bonus as 4-part (which it currently is lacking entirely), but otherwise it's getting outperformed by Morag Tong, Hunding's, Ravager etc.0 -

Agreed. All of the trials sets are pretty useless. Vicious, if anything, is probably better than all the others.
But yeah, anyone who can do math can figure out why without caps, or it generating ulti, crit is infinitely less worthwhile than damage.0 -
