Was finishing Rare Imports and was with Alyxe. Finished her part and a message came up saying something to the effect of:
Soul Shard blah blah then had a wood symbol (staff) + Triangle + Circle.
Message went away too quick to read it. Any idea what it was/is?

OzJohnD✭✭✭✭I saw this combination in a quest specific activity (directing NPC mages where to bomb the enemy overlooking the battle filed from a cliff top .. one of the last quests in Bankorai) ... I was a little confused initially but just using Triangle + Circle seemed to trigger the necessary action in game.
Not sure what it would have been in your circumstance.Everyone knows the phenomenon of trying to hold your breath underwater - how at first it's alright and you can handle it, and then as it gets closer and closer to the time when you must breathe, how urgent the need becomes, the lust and the hunger to breathe. And then the panic sets in when you begin to think that you won't be able to breathe - and finally, when you take in air and the anxiety subsides...that's what it's like to be a vampire and need blood.

SugaComa✭✭✭✭✭This is when an ally triggers an AoE attack and if you're in it you can use that effect yourself to either increase their dsmage output, increase your own or even heal your self.
When you see it use .. Especially on bosses, also learn what your own stuff has that allies can utilise it may just save someone life0 -

Certain ability combinations performed by your allied will activate the opportunity for the synergy and then you can use the synergy by pressing the buttons. if your curious there are a number of good sources on the web for information on synergies and what abilities and combos will activate them for your allies.0
