@ZOS_BrianWheeler
Will you guys release V16 PvP bags with the bump to Vet 16 as well? In the past this always happened several patches after the fact and that is a PITA.

haha no pvp v16 gear... classic zos..
Because eventually the Veteran System will be converted into levels (or whatnot) and the additional progress will scale accordingly? What does it matter if it's VR16 or Level 65?@ZOS_BrianWheeler
What's the point in bringing out v16 when you actually want to remove the veteran system?

He didn't confirm the presence of them either. Considering they didn't have V12 or V14 PvP bags until months after those veteran ranks were released and the fact he ignored the question despite obviously reading it and answering another question asked afterwards is confirmation enough for me.

I think everyone expects level caps to be raised in an MMO eventually. The problem is increasing them by 2 every few months. Gear "resets" should happen with full expansions and larger level cap raises. The increase from vr14-vr16 is nothing but a giant pain in the ass.

Fact: there hasn't been a level increase for about a year now. Fact: Most games do a reset with level cap increases. Fact: ESO doesn't do a reset with level cap increases. Proof:
If you feel forced to replace identical gear for stats that amount to under a tenth of one percent of power, that's on you. The only thing you could say is "but new items will come!", to which you'd have to be against any game additions at all to think is a bad thing.

Then what is the point of them increasing the level cap at all? Besides them spending more time on things that aren't important problems?

Really, now... they were in the same day as those patches introducing the new veteran ranks each time. Why would you assume this won't be the same? There wasn't a delay of "months after". Not immediately answering a question that hadn't even been asked (his response was to someone talking about harvesting nodes in Cyrodiil. You know... wood, ore, etc.?), not vendor purchasables. Inserting a random new question by quoting a response to something else entirely and then complaining it wasn't answered isn't good form. Guess what? While he'll probably pop back in to answer now that you actually asked... it still would be meaningless as to what the case is, if he doesn't. So now it's not, "He said this!" but suddenly "he didn't say anything yet when it was asked!", except.... it wasn't asked in the first place.

Fun factor (it's enjoyable to see your XP bar moving along when playing, just like your AP bar).. Appearance. The in game economy (draining excess materials used to upgrade when people feel compelled to, or want to, replace gear). Moneysinks to help prevent MUDflation. PR (come try this new stuff!). I can come up with a lot.
