Currently the only vanity pet available in game is razak's opus which is a dwemer spider pet from doing the public dungeon razak's wheel in bankorai.

The scuttler pet is only available to those who have the explorers pack that came with preorders.

The nibenay mudcrab came with the imperial edition of the game.

The imagkin monkey was given to those who participated in beta

The rufious mudcrab was mistakenly given to some early digital imperial edition accounts.

The brustlegut piglet pet was given to those who attended quakecon and is stated to be the 2014 event item meaning you can probably get it at upcoming events that bethesda is at.

Finally the whiterun wolfhound is available to those who ordered the steam imperial edition before 10am july 21st.

You're in a much better spot than the original participants of the thread. There are several pets for purchase in tbe Crown Store.

Vanity Items, like pets, is the exact reason the Crown Store exists.

Razak's Opus is obtainable by quest in-game. In the DC Alliance. I created a level 3 DC and just ran to the quest and followed level 40s through the public dungeons. I won't betray my lovely AD.

Hey @SkateDoug.

For future reference, if you use the "search" mechanic to find a specific thread, if that thread is more than two or so months old it's usually better to make a new thread instead of "necroposting" and bringing up an old thread.

As for pets, you are in luck! If you go in the game and enter the Crown Store, there are more vanity pets than you'd know what to do with. Everything from the adorable Shornhelm Shepherd all the way to the abominable Daedric Scamp.

If you do not wish to pay for a pet then you can always get Razak's Opus in game still.
