Emperorship and Campaign End

So, since I can't seem to find this info anywhere, I thought you guys might be able to help. Does the emperor get deposed when a campaign ends? Can he be deposed when someone surpasses him in the leaderboards? Basically what I'm getting at is, the campaign I'm in is completely dominated by my alliance - there is no chance of the enemy deposing our emperor by taking our keeps. So, is it possible to take emperorship at the campaign reset?

If so, I have a few other questions. How often can deposition by new leader occur? Can there be a new emperor every single time a new person gains the top spot on the leaderboard? Or is there a cooldown or score calculation timer? Also, I've heard that there is a cooldown after campaign end, approximately 30 min to 1 hour, where any points you get do not count. Is this true? And if so, how long is it?

No, campaigns resetting doesn't reset Emp, and passing them on LB doesn't do anything either until he's deposed.

You can only get deposed if you lose all 6 emperor keeps even if the campaign ends or someone overtakes you on the leaderboard. You can't lose emperorship any other way. If you're alliance is doing so well, I don't see why you would want your current emperor to be deposed, sounds like they're doing a good job.

When a campaign resets there is about 1 hr before the scoring re-opens. You can see the countdown timer by viewing the alliance war leaderboards via your journal. It will say 'scoring re-opens in x'.
