Mantikora Daedric?

Currently arguing with a guildmate who is claiming Mantikora (1st boss, Sanctum Ophidia, not the mobs around craglorn delves) is daedric and affected by fighters guild skills and passives. I'm trying to convince him it's not true, anyone else who can help me confirm?
