Deconstruction Bonus Of Other Players Items

When you deconstruct a player-made item, you are earning 800% more IP than if you crafted and deconstructed something all by yourself.
This is no longer true?
If this is no longer true, what items give the most IP? Found items, Quest items, Items I make? Something else?

All I see is hate and rage from people who don't understand how to.....

The bonus IP from deconstructing items not crafted by you (i.e. found, quest rewards, other players) has not changed, to my knowledge. The statement you quoted should still hold true--in-game it certainly still appears as such to me. Items you make will give you a dreadfully low amount of IP upon deconstruction, but any other items (from quests, other players, found in the world) will give you much better returns. Higher quality items (green, blue, purple, etc.) and items with Traits (Sharpened, Defending, Impenetrable, etc.) will give you the most IP.

Don't deconstruct things you make for IP. If you have another character, send any items you do make there; that character will receive the IP bonus for deconstructing those items because they were technically made by someone else (your 1st character).

I have not tested with other crafts, but at least for enchanting it is no longer true that a different players item deconstructs for more IP. What was found through testing with enchanting was a looted glyph was worth the most IP, and another players glyph gave the same IP as if a different character on your account made the glyph

To be honest, never checked a playre creating and deconstructing their own item, but that has always given far less IP than any other way

Interesting. I didn't know if deconstructing another player's item gave more IP than deconstructing a looted item; all I ever noticed was that both looted items and items created by other players gave more IP in general upon deconstruction than items I made myself. So, compared to the IP given when I deconstructed something I crafted, I reasoned that anything not crafted by me gave "bonus" IP--which is partly true, I just wasn't aware there was a difference in IP gain between looted and other-player-crafted items.

    Very insightful.

Well here is IP data from Crafted Glyph Swap between Player Character and Player Alt-Character as of PTS 2.08 and verified on Live 2.12.

I am doing Enchant Writs on my VR5 main crafter and I will start checking the IP returns on all those for this week after reading this change. I'll have to be very careful to check stats of the looted glyph to see what exact rune level it might be, given the overlap between each glyph level (1-1+, 2-2+ etc)

NOTES: All IP is maximum return with no penalties for Skill Level versus Glyph Level. Previous applied Glyph stat bug is still evident on GOLD extraction for Major-Monumental, no change in IP for higher Glyphs,

P.S. Is there code to allow image zoom on this forum? I'll add it to the chart if there is for readability.
