Templar vs DK

I use mostly weapon skills, and i have two spare slots that i wish to use for support... Mitigation and heal...

What would be best? Dk with dragon blood and something else? (Maybe obsidian shield or the other shield)
Or Templar with a heal and maybe sunshield? (Sun shield is only 6 seconds, so i think dk is better in this aspect)

Also taking passives into account... Both have regen, spell defense... Templar have weapon dmg, etc

It depends what role you're going for, really.

    Both are amazing classes.
    Unfortunate magicka warden main.

These are my two favorite classes. I have personally found that I like the mage play style more in this game than in any other MMO I've ever played. I have a heavy preference on class skills than on weapon skills.

The play styles of the two classes are very different. DKs focus more on CC, DoTs and shield/mitigation defense abilities to get through fights. Templars focus more on direct damage, debuffs and healing.

So typically, a DK will start a fight with a defensive spell like Spike Armor or Obsidian Shield, then go attack, making sure to keep their damage mitigation ability of choice active through all or most of the fight. A templar would start right into damaging the enemy and healing as health gets low.

So your support abilities are going to depend on the class. DK prevents damage while Templars heal after taking damage.

    Nightblade

    Stamina Sorcerer ;)

You're right though, Nightblade is the strongest melee class.
    Auri-El is my lord,
    Trinimac is my shield,
    Magnus is my mind.
