was wondering how they compare...i really like that move on my temp and im now on my stam DK nd im using Dual Wield for aoe so i wanted to see how it is and should i get it. i know its probably not cone effect like biting jabs but is the dmg single target good or bad?
Flurry is a single target stamina ability, so you aren't going to get any AoE out of it. Its a solid single target dps ability, but it does have a bit of a drawback like Puncturing Strikes. It's essentially a channeled ability, which leaves you vulnerable for a couple seconds. Flurry has a longer channel time than Puncturing Strikes, which makes it a little bit worse. It also doesn't have a knock back and a healing ability added to it. Its two morphs are an increase in damage or a % chance to disorient a target (which means a heavy attack will knock it down).
So for me, I'd take Puncturing Strikes over Flurry any day because it does so much more for you.
In pve, flurry is much better than 2h : Valkyn and ravager proc far more often.
Biting jabs is better tough, better damage, faster hit per second (so even more proc) and class ability.
You'd be getting more damage out of any of dw's other skills actually. Thanks to lightattack animation canceling. Just tap attack and immediately follow up with skills, also works with heavy attacks for that stam return.

Yeh and the fact that ruffien tool tip is worded badly it give the stun damage to all weapon abiltys so supprise attack after ambush is great
