Energy/power overload. When you slot the 3 bar with abilities do all those abilities do extra damage while overload is on? Also is there somewhere on the game to check the number or about of your overload ultimate?

Power overload only increases heavy attack range and radius while overload is active, it doesnt increase the damage of your other abilities or slotted spells.

If you're referring to the extra damage that morph applies to overload, that too only works for the light/heavy attacks with the ultimate, not for slotted abilities.

The 6% more damage that you see on the tooltip, only applies to Overload light and heavy attacks.
When activating Overload, you still benefit from you weapons. So for example when wearing sword and shield with a health enchant, you will still keep the health while Overload is active.

Also the damage of your weapons will add to Overload and all the abilites on your Overload bar.

So I was thinking about making a 2h build modeled after like a sith lord type thing. 2h would basically be there for Carve and crit rush/surge combo.... something like, lightning form, charge, carve, light attack, bolt escape, activate overload and fry stuff

anybody ever try something like that?

Wouldn't be the best tactic, as dual wield (holding 2 swords for example) gives you and your Overload more damage and also offers you 2 weapon set opportunities. But of course you don't have critical charge without a 2handed weapon.
