Redirected to steam while not having ESO on Steam... ?

SmashingQuasar
Hey,
I'm having a very odd bug right now, I bought ESOTU and registered they key on the website, so it wasn't a Steam purchase, and Steam had nothing to do with it. I subscribed to ESO Plus without any trouble, but now that I want to buy crowns I'm redirected to Steam marketplace to checkout, while I do not care about since I do not own the game on Steam, and my key wasn't even a Steam key (which is denied by Steam btw). What should I do?

Send in a help ticket with customer support and have them verify it's a non-steam game. If you purchased the key from some third party retailer, they have been known to sell steam keys flat out marketing them as "Not Steam Key".

If it is NOT a steam key, I'm sure customer support is who will need to help you anyways. If something is wonky with your account - they will have the means to fix it.

Well that's what I did, but I'm worried they'll do nothing, because last time I had an issue with my account they just answered me: We can't do anything about accounts. So that is a little bit frustrating
    Thanks for the help anyway

Well the support answered me that I got a stolen key so they'll see if my account will be banned or not (but now the support just stays silent) anyway the website I bought the key on agreed to give me a full refund or a new key if I got banned so I guess everything is for the best.

Are you getting to crowns from the eso website or your account settings?
