Tips for leveling up quickly?

I have a level 8 dark elf dragon knight and I am focusing on dual wielding with med/heavy armor. Is this a good focus, and is there anything I can do to help my character level up quickly?

I am just looking to have fun and play the game, nothing super intense tbh.

Then just play the game.

Until you reach Veteran Ranks (begins at level 50) the normal content (quests, etc.) provides you with enough XP. If you complete more than the story-related quests, you will also outlevel for the current area.

I'm the same build... I leveled up quickly by doing many many side quests... As far as I know, theres no cheats or gratuitious short cuts like in Skyrim or Oblivion... Main story and guild quests help you level faster...

If its skill points you want, go skyshard hunting....

You'll probably be playing this game for a year+. So enjoy it -

I just posted a question in this same forum addressing the the dark elf duel wield dragon knight... So follow that....

I found that i died a lot until i hit level 17+. Using skill points for passives on med armorand dark elf skills helped... And when some abilities morphed it helped me survive longer too...

Thanks! Yeah I'm not looking to exploit anything, just want to strengthen my character. Mostly play alone after wife and kids go to sleep so I'm more casual than anything. I appreciate the feedback!
