I think @Gidorick is a great choice to implement auction horses. Best idea of his. He has a lot of them, but an auction horse is very original.

And yes I'm being serious. I've never seen an auction horse in any MMORPG. Therefore it would be groundbreaking. Not something you see in mmorpgs these days as we can be a pretty fickle community.

But something that always gets to me is the idea that something cannot be made to offer something to all groups.

PVE players
PVP players
Single Players
Group players

I hope when they think of DLC it contains abit for everyone.

It provides options for all sides:

A place for role players to well role play.
A mini game situation for PVE players (Defend your land for rewards).
A mini game situation for PVP players ( Player V Player Thieves).
A place for single to get away from others and craft and work on their skills.
A Place for groups to gather and play mini games and for guilds to gather and head out.

Then you take the crown store in affect ( they need to show profits and make sure it's worth the resources).

Mainly quick steps:
-Buy themes for your house ( also offered in game for gold)
-Buy miscellaneous items for your house i.e Shrine to _____
-upgrade your house tier from 1-2-3-4-5 with crowns ( also done in game).

The money they can make just with 1 feature is insane but as long as it is done right.


If its half baked then well yeah good luck......

Want the money you have to put the time and effort into it.

Or let the modders in and give the tools to make ideas and submit them.

Anything really.

@Heromofo well stated not quoting that block (it's too long for quote) but ya agree completely. Another thing that boggles my mind is the whole concept of "No other game is doing it so it can't be done..." or "it's a bad idea because no body else does it" ... this thought line causes things (anything, innovation specifically) to become stagnant and quickly outdated and eventually replaced ...people have done a lot of great things and none of them were done with this "it's impossible" or "others don't so it must be a bad idea" mentality.

i would have said giddorick for the auction horse idea but he doesnt seem to grasp the need for goldsinks in games so he would likely trash the economy through inflation within a month. sorry dude
