level 11 Magicka DK (Leveling Problem)

Idk why im getting *** to much and REALLY fustrating the hell out of me (idk what skills to be using to be effective for level 11 DK) some help would be nice ?

Hey bro,

firstly you are only level 11,
I would focus on the main class skills, racial skills and weapon skills,

I generally start with spiked armour, stonefist on the class skills,
then puncture on sword and shield,

i run around killing until i can choose another skill,
skills to get are:
Molten weapons,
dark talons
searing strike,

Then just build from there
It doesnt matter if you choose the wrong skills now you can Respec later,

1) you need to go for magma armor ultimate asap (you become immortal for 9 second)
to reach this quickly you must have stonefist > obsidian shard in your bar, and as already say is your primary stun skill when low level.

2) your 2nd target is to get into green dragon blood (survival skill), so level spiked armor and burning talons (immobilize + dot)

3 weapon: on low level use destro inferno staff, with magicka damage restore magika enchantment.

you will have then in your 1rst bar

- ultimate: magma armor > magma shell
- obsidian shard
- burning talons
- green dragon blood
- unstable flame
- destructive reach, change into crushing shock asap

this is the best i've done with my dk before the 15 level

Yeah i cant respec till i get to 15 (next zone) and i aint forking out any cash shop respec aswell so im so bloody angry and annoyed cause im not having fun and keeps upsetting me

Right now i have Destructive Reach, Force Pulse, Burning Talon, Burning Strike, Elemental Blockade (and Banner)

It helped my magicka DK to get a set of crafted armor. And I believe what was important wasn't so much the set bonuses but that he wasn't wearing lvl 7 white armor at lvl 12. A set of green, on-level armor can help wonders, especially if all pieces are enchanted.

you may go to next zone if you like respec, just look at your faction respec place on google, then follow the main road. it will be an easy trip if you keep away the trouble. low level respec is chip 2-3000 g

remember to use stonfist > and morph it (i use obsidian)

always look at the morph tooltip: stun, knock back and immobilizing options are your very best friends

Go all into health HP attributes and mitigation skills like spiked armor and stonefist early on. You don't need higher damage until veteran zones.

Yeah too late dont have any points or able to collect skyshard (level 12 and dying fast still)

You can fight npcs within 5 levels of you and still get rewards and XP. Go fight some lower level mobs, collect and vendor everything, go pay for a respect in grahtwood, it's only like 500g at your level for just attirbutes. Just ask for someone to port you there. Easy, not too late.

The best thing for lower levels is any 2h weapon. That will allow you to take on multiple targets at the same time. You will lose health, but should be able to survive them better. Alternate your attributes also, 1v1 for health/stamina(2h). Also use spells that stun targets, that way you can pretty much take out 1 of the 2 enemies there before they start hitting you.

If your magicka based, go with Destro Staff and 1v1 health/magicka. Look for spells that do damage to multiple enemies as well.

Okay now im 15 and still don't know what i should be using and its doing my head in so much (Templar was easy for me) but now this so hard

Dk starts slowly but gets better later once you unlock more skills. (Where templar starts with very efficient spells DK has to earn the properly damaging moves.)

Someone said about all attributes to health - I would go most in magicka instead. Matter of taste. Either way, stay away from stamina pieces if playing magicka build. Remember to use buff food, even white looted or vendor bought stuff if you don't craft. On early levels crafted weapons give hugely more power than looted ones. On lowbie characters if struggling it's worth it to make sure you keep your weapon up to date with levels - they have big impact on your damage output.
