Redistributing Skill Points - when and any downsides?

I'm only at level 21, but I have close to 50 points with skyshards and quest completion etc...

I'm thinking of redistributing my skill points because I wasted a few here and there... and I am so OCD, I just can't quite live with that.

So, anything one should be aware of when redistributing? Do you lose your morphs? Do you lose anything? Can you do it multiple times?

any downside?

I used to feel more confident doing this in Skyrim because I could just go back to an early save and do it again, where there is not a go back to an earlier save with this game... is there?

No downsides at all except for gold loss. You can do as often as you want. You retain progress for morphs, even if you choose the other one (you have to level the new morph separately, but if you go back to the other, it will have the same progress as before).

Only downside is the gold cost. There's two options:

1) Reset everything, including morphs.

2) Reset morphs only.

Progress in the skills is saved. So, if you re-buy a skill or morph you will get it back at the same progress level.

For example, let's say you had the Brawler morph in 2h and had raised it to level III. If you reset your skills and then re-buy Brawler it will still be level III.

Ok , now I understand progression being saved. Thank you. I had just started wondering about that as well. The idea of going back if something didn't quite feel right was and having to level it again showed forethought on ZoS part.
