So what you are saying is that anyone who manages to organize something will steamroll the disorganized opposing forces and have a super easy time farming Alliance Points.
All the more reason to be the one to do it rather than the one to complain about how it is difficult to do.

But, for people that do "care"...well, maybe they (ZOS) just want the players to feel that sense of "accomplishment" that we (Us "Old Folks") used to feel waaaaay back in "ye olden times"...when we had to Earn things.
Had to earn things? Don't make me laugh. While not as old as you I still played early console and computer games where sometimes the challenge was figuring out what the buttons/keys actually did. We played for fun, for the experience, and mostly for curiosity. We did most of this with friends because these games were more difficult to come by and also to share all of the previous things with others. What did we actually earn? Cartography skills using grid paper?
That being said, in the modern age of games with trophies, achievements, and other methods of tracking progress it makes sense to allow players to work towards something. The emperor trophy is the complete opposite of this since you can be the best player but on the wrong alliance, or the best support/siege player and still never achieve this. Making it require attaining alliance rank 10 is far more plausible and still requires a ton of work. The difference is that you can work towards this goal over time and constantly monitor your progress. You still earn it, you just don't have to conform to a specific style of play to do so.
Um...Dude...I wasn't talking about earning things "in a game"....which the TOP portion of my post, the part you didn't quote, was obviosly refering to.
I was just taking a *jab* at this younger, "entitled", generation we have around now-a-days.

We have to work longer and retire later
Driving lessons ar enow much harder to complete than in the old days
School exams are harder to pass
Jobs are MUCH harder to get for younger people and then are totally exploited by 0 hour contracts and can be fired without reason.
I think the younger generation have it much harder than the old generation... when my dad left school he got a job as an apprentice butcher the same day, took me 4 months to get my first job after leaving school...

Actually this whole anti entitlement thing is cancer to gaming, YES in many areas of gaming we are entitled, go watch some alphaomegasin on youtube and he will explain it to you. We pay £50 for a PS4 game we're entitled to have it working day 1 etc etc, people who are complacent with this are the ones letting them get away with day 1 dlc, and super broken game launches (batman PC)
Being entitled if a right we pay for, so people should be entitles no matter a game or whatever.
Remember when we used to play games for the fun of it? Those were the days...

Okay, this is the last post I am wasting on this thread.
Why?
Because you crossed the line.
You actually said; "It is fine to act "entitled" because some guy on youtube said it is!".
Yeah...good luck with that.
And...buh-bye.

[sarcasm]
Yeah...kids have it so rough these days.
[/sarcasm]
Every generation *thinks* they have it rougher than the one before...and every generation is wrong about it.
When the current generation grows up, they will have the wisdom to see this...hopefully.

Support OP, the trophy is a disgrace...
I know a couple mates who didnt buy this game because of said trophy.
I also have bad OCD with trophys, if its an "offline trophy" i can leave it for ages because i know i can get it anytime, but with online trophys, in this case all of them i always have that worry if the servers close/die the trophy becomes unattainable.
I hate any type of RNG trophy, or trophys that are virtually impossible without boosting but this one is the worst.
I normally go for trophys with mate(s) so we may do some coop trophys and help each other etc, but this one is impossible, for a start we cant work on it together so we'd have to do it separate or do it twice, lol.
Take COD for example, i would rather reach max prestige, or get X kills in a game compared to say get "first blood" 5 games in a row, because you cant control what others are going to do...
Then there is the people who transfered from PC who have better accounts, with tons of champion points, which new console players don't.
To get this trophy you'd need to basically nolife 18hrs to have any chance, then you've got to potentially compete with people who play 2 people on the same account so they can play 24hrs.
TL:DR: this trophy is a disgrace and an insult to trophy hunters.

You guys obviously don't "get" the OCD tendencies of a Trophy Hunter.
You're the one who created my generation. As a 40+ guy who hates the sissified younger generation of today.
Good.
No participation trophies , there should be losers in contesst , and if you want the damn trophy earn it.
Get off my lawn while we're at it.
