Items missing from bank

TheOneAndOnly777
I've been playing since the launch on PC. A while back, I found that I've lost items that were stored in my bank. Most notably of all, I've lost all of my dwemer oil (for upgrading blacksmithing gear), of which I had 45. I submitted a ticket a week ago, however the only response I've gotten was the next day telling me the the ticket was escalated. I haven't received any response since, and I have only heard of one other person with this issue. I just want to know if anybody else has encountered this, if Zenimax is aware of the issue, and if there is any way I can be refunded the items I have lost.

Im going to say most of us pc transfer guys are having the same issue especially with items missing from the transfers.

They will give you the run around and tell you they dont have any records of you having the items. Well thats what im experiencing as we speak. Hopefully yours gets resolved.

Yes, that's exactly the response I received today. I replied back that I do not consider the issue resolved. It's good to know I am not alone.

Holy ***. I have now lost all of my mastic (epic woodworking improvement item), all of my rosin (legendary woodworking improvement item) all of my primal crafting style items, and my dwarven oil has been wiped again! I'm continuing to lose more and more items, some even removing the replacements I've gathered! I have gotten no help from customer support, and it seems nobody else has. The issue is being swept under the rug, and there is no mention of it in any of the bug tracker pages. I'm fairly sure I've lost other items as well. I've been playing since the PC beta, I pre-ordered the Imperial edition, I had ESO Plus for a while, and I've bought plenty of the stuff from the crown store. This issue only seems to be affecting players who transferred from PC, which are arguably the most loyal of all users to have bought the game twice, and have stuck with it for over a year now. I love this game to death and want to keep playing, but when all of my most valuable materials keep on getting deleted for no reason, and I receive no help from the support teams, I'm damn near ready to give up on this game. I want to keep playing, I want to level my multiple characters, and I want to keep crafting and exploring. I love the crafting in this game, and my bank is entirely filled with materials to make the best stuff I can. Losing this stuff though completely ruins all motivation I have for advancing. I feel the game is senselessly removing some of my most valuable items, and there is nothing I can do about it.
They will give you the run around and tell you they don't have any records of you having the items.

Also, I assume the only reason I didn't receive that response is due to the fact that I recounted how many items are still in my bank on PC. It's not exactly concrete, but it was enough to show I did in fact have it at some point. I haven't played PC since I bought the transfer, so my bank on PC should be exactly as it should be upon transfer. Also, thank you for your comment. I hope that Zeni will at least talk to us. The lack of communication is one of the worst parts. Really reminding me of the how Ubisoft handled all of the issues with Watch Dogs.

Well after i got told the transfer was successful i sent alot of my items to friends who are still playing on the pc. But ive been told that i have not logged in after the transfer happened which is total bull i didnt just dream it all :/

So with no records of me ever signing in after the transfer means i pretty much have been boned.

It probably so us pc players dont have a massive advantage crafting wise over new players on console, cos its odd this many transfer characters to be affected.

I don't think it's anything intentional. For one, this is the response I got from support:

    "Thank you for contacting us!

Since it seems like your issue needs a deeper investigation, I will escalate your ticket to our dedicated specialists team. So don't worry, one of our specialists will provide you with further assistance soon.
Good speed for your travels in Tamriel!"

Also, the items deleted seem to be somewhat inconsistent, and it's also removing materials such as my oil again. I'm once again down to 2 dwarven oil because of these deletions.

Those of us who are NA PC players also have a snapshot of our records currently residing on the PTS server. It appears our PC account characters, including our character and bank inventories were copied on May 13. The crafting material I am missing on my xbox account does indeed reside on my PTS account and I believe this data could be used to substantiate our claims.

I'm having the same problem, for me it is the racial crafting mats like all my obsidian nickel bones and so on it seems to happen every time I log in on the xbox and it's always a different item of the same type. It's getting really old now, i feel like I remember something similar to this happening around launch of the pc version but I could be wrong that was a while ago lol

Update: I just received and email about my ticket I put in telling me my issue has been solved, without even being contacted or restoring my items or anything. I put in the ticket yesterday log in today and all my nickel is gone again but my problem has been solved right?? I believe that they really don't give 2 F***s about it!!

I lost some junk armor for a low level tune that was wearing it. Can not confirm if I lost anything else. But something weird happened last week.

Yeah, we have another thread already going.

Haven't lost anything valuable yet.. all my stuff transferred. I've lost it AFTER I have been playing a while.

I lost at least a stack of crafting runes (Denima I think)and a stack of ginger this weekend (more than 100 but not 200 in the stacks).

    UPDATE

I actually got a response from support last night.

Thank you for getting back to us. I apologize for the delay in getting back to you, we're very busy at the moment and this has pushed back our response time.

The information we have on what happened to them was inconclusive, but I've been given permission by my supervisor to make a one time exception. As such, I've gone ahead and mailed you 45 Dwarven Oil. They'll be waiting for you in your mailbox when you next log in!

I apologize for the inconvenience, and for any frustration caused. I wish you the best of luck on your adventures in Tamriel, and please don't hesitate to contact us again if there's anything else we can help you with!

When I submitted my ticket, I wasn't expecting to receive compensation (although I had been hoping). So, this is a welcome surprise, and I very much appreciate the support. However, I cannot bring myself to continue playing until the bug itself is put to bed. I love this game, and I want to keep going, but I can't do it knowing I'm risking the items in my bank. So, I plan to accept the oil from the mail (super cool you did that Lloyd), then just wait until it blows over.

I look forward to joining all of you back in Tamriel as soon as I can adventure with peace of mind. Although it took a while for support to respond, they were at least willing to refund the most valuable thing I've lost thus far, which I very much appreciate.

Thanks for all your responses, and I wish you all the best of luck in both your adventures, as well as the support you may receive from Zeni.
