Another good question: WHY is this a continent!? I mean... Really?
I wonder why no one has created a business in Australia that offers servers to online games? Ive been playing online games for over ten years now and I've read countless forum threads asking the same thing: Aussie servers. There has to be money in it, yet no one has thought to start up a business? Gives me an idea...

^ this.
....and coupled with the fact that the Tier 1 Carrier submarine cables to Australia are just bogus with stupid amounts of hops between points.
More than 75% of the traffic that comes into Perth back over the Singapore link feeds VIA Jakarta.. So unfortunately, Indonesia has sapped a good proportion of our bandwidth before it even hits us.
As for the east coast a big chunk of Cable makes its way up to Guam (PIPE, owned by TPG for example) where it hits another congested transport hub and goes on its merry way back to the US. There is only ONE subsea cable that makes a direct link between Sydney and California (APX-East) - Everything else hops via Hawaii or Auckland.

If your serious, your an elitest d**k..
If your trolling then equally, your a d**k for making such a ridiculous comment with the intention of annoying people.
So what's the deal? Because we don't live where you do that makes us and our country inferior..
D**khead
I don't get trolls. Where's the fun in making others hate you.
With the way things are going I doubt there'll be more than a maximum of three megaservers a year from now... (PC/Mac, PS4, X-Box - unless the game gets shut down on console in the meantime, which looks to be a real possibility)

Do you think you could elaborate a bit more when you say "unless the game on console gets shut down which looks to be a real possibility"..
So we've paid money for this game and (some of us) even got ESOplus not to mention the time invested and they're just going to shut it down (or at least are contemplating it)..
If that's the case it's definitive evidence that ZOS are in it for the money and NOT the gamers.
Which is a stupid comment, I know, no one does anything for free, least of all gaming companies, but that doesn't make things any more acceptable.

I would say how do you know that YOUR not the night capper except for the fact that it's an NA server and not an AUS server lol
