Elder scrolls Offline
hello i think we need to change the game name to Elder Scrolls Offline , friday down for 5-6 hours maintaince , yeterday again !! and now i got kicked offline and get re-connect to the game maintaince !! the server has been offline more then online !! here goes my eso plus membership without being able to play , whats wrong with you guys? every day maintaince ?

XBOX ONE
we had friday a 6hour maintaince during european day time .
yesterday we had a 4.5 hour maintaince and afther it only lagg problems while playing
and now i got kicked for a new maintaince even to they said they werent gonna do it !!
so 3 work days in a row offline , and my eso membership just keeps running down in time0 -

Bobbyk24✭Im on the european xbox one server to and I was playing the whole day. If I can remeber it never went down for me and if it did it was for an hour or two not six.

Im on the european xbox one server to and I was playing the whole day. If I can remeber it never went down for me and if it did it was for an hour or two not six.
if you where *singed in* before it started you where able to keep playing , if you werent singed in you could not login to the game , try restarting your game now

Ljungstroem✭✭✭I agree with this problem. Since they have a NA server and an EU server they are aware that timezones of these servers do not come together.
Instead of updating everything at once they should move the updates and maintenance to lets say 3 am in the night of that specific server. Yes some people might have the updates a few hours earlier than the other server but does it really matter?
Just like the bank industry with online banking, they are updating at around 3am-5am nights because not many people would be on at that time.
This will still hit players who are solely playing at night, but I refuse to believe that fewer people play in the mornings.
Right now it is 3:44 pm for me and the game is down for maintenance. In the middle of the day during summer holiday.0 -

It's to fix a severe issue.

no im not done, i got ESO PLUS MEMBERSHIP FOR 5 days now and 3 of the 5 days the server has been down for maintaince !!
its a piece of [snip] they do maintaince for the xbox one login when the problem is with the ps4 and not with the xbox one ! and now they keep taking the server down on the xbox one . its just stupid ! specially when they do it during DAYTIME !! start doing maintaince at night !

Pman85✭✭✭✭I think this is a problem appearing after console launch. Very MMO ignorant players are flooding in. Even the most simple MMO feature tends to baffle these players. They are used to 6v6 cod lobbies, they are used to skyrim and think this should be the same thing...you know, power on the console, press play, and play as they see fit. They dont tend to realize just how much maintenance really goes into a MMO (weekly and post launch).

yep and they only have to sit there and click 2 or 3 buttons cuz the server does the rest for them , and normal mmo rpg games only had 1 maintaince a week at 0.00 midnight my time, since thats a better time for everyone , just to take the server offline 3 work days in a row is too much its bad for the server as well0 -

✭✭✭✭✭I feel like a lot of you are new to online gaming. Planned and unplanned downtime happen, and they are always inconvenient for some portion of the user base. Shortly after launch it happens a lot. Either deal with it, or don't be an early adopter.

If I may, is this your first MMO? What country do you live in? What is the timezone difference between your current timezone and the EST/EDT timezone? right now its 16.10PM here its a wierd time to take the european server down since there is only a little time difference between all european countries , and why do it friday,monday and tuesday? its too much in a row, why not just do it 1 time right? instead of messing up and do it a day later again ..
