How the heck do I eat the alchemy ingredients to learn their first attribute?
you have to try to make a potion with them. You don't eat them.

Basically, ^this. In your inventory, basically "use" the alchemy ingredient, and you should eat it to learn the first trait.

Hmm, I am fairly certain that clicking "x" uses potions on PS4 and I definitely was hammering that button in the ingredients panel of the inventory but nothing was happening. Even at the bottom of the screen where it lists what actions I can take (such as R3 to destroy the item) it doesn't list eating them.
The servers are down right now otherwise I would login to test this. In a few hours I'll check again.
PS. Thanks for all of the help so far guys!

I'll try to test it out at lunch on PS4.. maybe it has to do with collectibles missing their "use" option too? Let me know if you figure it out before I get to try though!

I definitely will, and thanks for your efforts. I'm blown away by the support on this forum!

It gets better. As someone said, this game's learning curve is hardcore steep since the tutorials provided ingame give only a very, very rough overview of things.MilwaukeeScott wrote: »My fourth day and my head is spinning from all the stuff I need to know.
