transferring character rip off

i spent $60 on the pc and the xbox one for the game to learn that I'm not allowed to transfer characters because i didn't buy it a year ago. I think Zenimax needs to do something about that i mean $120 was total spent and i get nothing. i like the pc better to play solo but console is where all my friends play so i think they should implement where i play with my friends on one and when i want to be left alone i can go on the pc and go right where i backed off but come to the sad realization if i want to play with friends i have to play on my one and lvl that character up alot so i rarely ever play on my pc. I think they need to fix this asap because i like the pc but I'm going to be honest I just flat out don't play it that much or at all if i think about it. Zenimax i know I'm not the only one so please fix this for all of us who actually want to play this excellent game you have. If you have a way to bypass the expiration date leave a comment that would help alot.

I do not believe it was you had to have played 1 year ago. There was a 30 day window at was advertised on alot of sites and even in the pc website. While the idea of being able to go back and forth is neat. There is no fix because a feature that does not exist cant be broken. Also you last comment about bypassing the expiration date for the transfer makes the rest of your comment seem like another one of those I missed the boat excuses. Even if that is not the case.

yeah i did miss the boat but from everything i read and heard it was last year you had to have the game

I don't think it's a ripoff if you didn't qualify or understand the requirements.

Hopefully they bring back another opportunity for people who missed out in the future.

yeah it kind of sucks because i do like the pc version but i don't know a single friend that is a pc gamer and to be honest with you some friends i don't even have a computer to even try it out

Via a special offer, anyone who purchases and activates the PC/Mac version of The Elder Scrolls Online by 6/30/14 (11:59pm UTC) will have the opportunity to transfer their character(s) to either console version when they are released.

I think they thought the console version would have been released sooner than it was. They just stuck to the cut-off date.

And tell me again how it's ZoS's fault because you bought something that you didn't read up on before the purchase?

You had to have an active account before last years cutoffcutoff (It was June or July 30th, can't remember), as well, you needed to purchase the one time (copy) transfer offer in the 30 day window it was offered this year.

It was only a one time copy. After the copy happened. Characters on each platform level and play totally separate from each other.

yeah i know but im still mad i missed because i like playing the pc version and it's kind of hard to explain why i don't play it
