Players demanding payment for vampire bites
I fell for paying for a vampire bite. 5k now 5k after. Yeah right ok. I knew what was going to happen but deep down i hoped it wouldn't. I paid my 5k and surprise surprise they fast travelled away. But its no surprise players are demanding payment and others are accepting as it is so difficult to get bitten. I've sat in the supposed locations of the blood fiends spawn waiting for ages with all the other players, half of whom are only there to kill it so no one can get bitten. Im hoping vampire bites will become easier to stop this. I can understand it needs to be difficult to stop everyone being one but when there are players out there thinking they are trolls killing the blood fiends and others cashing in of it, something needs to be done.

Platorian✭✭took me around 5 days but I eventually got myself a free vampire bite last night, which was appreciated, I noticed however while I was at the ritual shrine getting my bite, there are always tons of Vampires (players) around and a lot of them had their bite available but no-one to give it to, it might be worth heading over there now and then to see if someone's bite is on CD. Alternatively as @GespenstRaccoon said, Sons of Coldharbor guild gives free bites and also Vampire Army on AD gives free bites (when they are off CD of course), I'm a member of both so if you want any invites PM me and we can see about someone biting you.2 -

In my experience most of the players who are already vampires and hang around the shrine aren't there to give out free bites. They're either there to scam, kill the mobs, or simply show off their vampirism to those who don't have it but want it.
There's always someone to give a bite to, they just don't want to. I gave a bite to someone two days ago and already have two others on my waiting list. When I bit him the other day I felt really bad because there were two other non-vampire players there who had mics, and they sounded really envious and dejected. They must have been waiting and hoping for ages then I run up and give it to someone else (he had asked me several days earlier though, I couldn't turn him down).Edited by Cameron_Star on June 30, 2015 11:11AM1 -

If I had not dropped my vamp, I would be more than happy to give you a bite for free. ALAS, I wont have another vamp until my son levels his up to bite my sorc.

Exactly. I have 3 WW and a couple vamps. 4 bitten by npcs and nothing paid for. The same thing happening on consoles happened on PC. It'll pass. The easiest way to get a bite is from a guild member.0 -

I feel your pain. Luckily just yesterday I met a guy and asked if he'd bite me and he said yes. BTW?
I'm a werewolf. I joined his guild and crew that is made up of Vampires and Werewolves and those that get in? Gets bitten (We hit it off so I got same day bit.) We do not believe in payment. We will even do it for people not in guild for free or some of us will for a small sum. (according what member you find. Our members take first priority so might have to wait a bit since the cooldown is so friggin long.)
Point is it's a game.

Why those bites should be simple to obtain?
For me WW bite brings me from my 1k dps (im 100% health tank) to almost 6k dps. How something as powerful as this should be "simple" to obtain? I have no problem working for it a bit. Its not just a little fur there and there, powerful abilities come with it. Same with vamp.
