Where are the most popular Guild Traders located? For buying purposes.

Hello Everyone,

I am a Xbox EU EP player and I was wondering where I needed to travel to shop the most exotics stocks of the guild traders in all of Tamriel.

Because we are limited to 5 guilds only, and people are still not pricing stuff with reason I would like where else I could go. I find it annoying to travel to every major city with no results at all. I have been everywhere in my alliance zone and normally every guild trader available are just trash.

There must be some guild traders that are more exotic than others, and more popular which hopefully also have some good stuff in store.

I hope some of you have some insight.

** It should be said I am mostly looking for everything that has to do with Blacksmithing **

Good evening,
- Lj

Belkarth, Rawlk'ha, alliance capital cities. But you can often find cheaper items if you look in less popular places.

I play EU/PC there the most expensive to hire traders are in Belkath(Craglorn) and Rawl'kha(Reapers March) and yes they go for 1mill++

It may take a while for the Traders in your 1-50area, I believe you said you were EP, to have good stock because if the Xbox is anything like the PC, EP is not the most populated alliance.

Unfortunately until you hit VR levels you may be a bit restricted but definitely have a look in Windhelm(Eastmarch). :)

Varies from server to server, but ive found the places where multiple guild stores are bunched together aposed to singler ones.

While I don't play on Xbox or EU, let me offer you some suggestions, based on my experiences with the PC NA megaserver...

If you're EP, try Mournhold and Davon's Watch. I also suggest Ebonheart, but there are 5 guild traders and not a lot travel there.

If you're AD, look into Vulkhel Guard and whatever that Greenwood main town is.

If you're DC, try Daggerfall and the city in Stormhaven (I think it's called Wayrest, but correct me if I'm wrong).

    Good luck, mate.

I have tried these and it seems most of them have nothing good for sale at all. Thanks though.

I was reading another thread people saying they bought certain Guild Traders for 500k+ and I was thinking these must have been in a good place.

I will try my luck here thank you. It might be the early days of console gamers, but guild traders almost have nothing for sale imo. Or priced insanely high.

I have never heard of these places. I am a level 42 character. Is it in Cadwells Zones or am I able to go there myself as of now?

    NOOO...
NOW THE GUILDSTORE NPC PRICES WILL SKYROCKET IN THE AREAS MENTIONED
NOW ALL PSEUDO TRADE GUILDS WILL CLUSTER THERE AND FORCE THE REAL ONES TO PAY EACH TIME MORE FOR ONE WEEK
    .. *camham*

..rly tho', be it on NA or EU, try Ralw'kha, Elden Root, Ebonheart, and that place in glenumbra.... anyway,
it's always the capital, and the last zone central city that haz the sweetezt lut
    also,
The guildStore NPCs are server wide, so if a EP guild has a spot in their Gold zone, Elden Root, they will sell stuff to the lowlies of Aldmeri that pass teher and the Not-So-Lowlies of DC's Caldwell's silver.

But if you want vet stuff, the hawt stuff is on Belkrath.
if you want all sorts of stuff, try the capitals, specially Rawl'kha (Reaper's March, AD)

Thank you, but as seeing I am level 42 only right now, I would only be able to travel to Mournhold, Davons Watch, Ebonheart and Coldharbour. I will not have access to any other good zones as of now, right?

Yea, but since you really mostly want crafting materials, Most guildstores will have plenty, i'd recommend going to Ebonheart and maybe coldharbour, and searching all of them npcz before buying from one, find the lowest price, sometimes those have considerable differences from a guild to another.

You can go to Craglorn at VR1 but I would advise only shopping trips at that level :)

Yes this is what I normally do, but still hard to find a lot of materials. Thank you a ton!

The problem with guild traders is the system is horribly, horribly flawed. First, without addons the store is nearly useless. Sorting by cost is about the worst possible way to sort items. I don't give a flipping hoot if 73 steel ingots are slightly cheaper than 100 steel ingots! That is not a bargain, it's a rip off in disguise. Sort by unit price, not total price, damn it! And there's this thing called "alphabetic sorting". Why in the name of Zenithar can we still not sort by NAME?!

Second, you can end up searching thru 10 or 12 guild stores looking for an item and still not find one. Hello! There needs to be some in game way to find something. I was looking for a stinking green recipe yesterday and went to over 20 stores in 5 zones and still couldn't find it. Eventually I got it thru zone chat. What a total waste of time. There needs to be some global service for buying/selling items. This hodge podge we have now is a joke at best.

And, finally, how many times have you bought an item and had to logout/login to receive it in the mail? Really, after over a year in release they still can't get the mail system to work? Ugh.
