Xbox 1, game quits to dashboard.

PLEASE HELP! I bought the game a week ago and have had 1 day uninterrupted game time, the day after i installed it. Ever since then i have had no more than 10 minutes game time before being kicked to the xbox1 dashboard. For the 5 days in a row i have tried to play ESO:TU it has done this, i have jus timed how long i get to play and shockingly it was 2mins 16secs. It has nothing to do with my internet connection and have found nothing on the forums to fix it. Major disappointment

I might be wrong, but it might just be an Xbox One issue. I've had that happen to me with other games as well. Not as frequently as you, but it has happened.

I would do a hard rest of the Xbox by holding down the power button for 5 to 10 seconds. After you do that go into settings. Disc & Blu-Ray then click on Persistent Storage and clear that out. Also go to your network settings and check your NAT make sure it says "Open" if it says "Moderate" or "Strict" go to support.xbox.com and there you can check out how to open up ports and also make sure you are opening the correct ones. Hope this helps!

The hard reset doesn't fix the issue. It may prolong it from occurring right away but there's something off with this game as this happens more than it should since the latest xb1 TeSTU patch

For some reason i was able to play last night with no problems and without doing anything (like a hard reset). Today same thing ive had no more than a 10 minute session within 5 runs. Have tried oXb3's solution, but its not helping. Thinking of selling the game if it's not sorted out soon or least acknowledged so that they can try to resolve the issue.

none of these solutions seem to fix the problem im having and it only happens when i play ESO

I was having this problem 2 days ago. Ultimately I tried all these solutions and nothing fixed it, so I decided to just Uninstaller the game and reinstalling it. Haven't had this problem occur since then. The part that sucks is its a 3 hourish install.

But it worked so I guess it was worth it.

the dashboard issue try uninstalling and reinstalling without opening the game before it is 100%. I still get loading screen and timeout issues.

That was one of the first things I did and have tried again but still the problem persists. Hopefully the maintenance tomorrow might sort it out. : (

I have been getting this a bit more since the patch, but not where I cannot play for a while. I seem to get it when doing a lot of banking/switching characters. I think it might have to do something server side where it looses connection and dumps you to dashboard. Not 100% sure, but it would be nice if ZOS would acknowledge the issue.

I just turned mine off after the 6th time. In the middle of something, and boom, quits to dashboard. Annoying as hell.

I would contact your Internet provider. I had the same issue but was recieveing over 50mb of data so didn't think there was an issue. I contacted my Internet provider and they said it's a common problem and they need to change the channel your on or you can do it from your router. Worked for me :-)
