Spell pen and spell crit for Aoe and Dot

I am curious mainly about the light armor passives that gives spell penetration and spell critical rating:
1 - it works for Dots like Entropy and Cripple?
2 - it works for Aoe spells like sap essence, poison mist from vamp and lotus fan?
3 - Dots can crit?
