The current quick chat system doesn't cover many scenarios of conversation when I don't feel like jumping on the mic, so I usually resort to xbox messages to chat (using the Smartglass app of course). So I started to think that maybe it would be a good idea to add the ability to create your own messages in the menu, let's say 10 at a time or so ( customers message 1, 2 etc.), that can be used along with the default message templates.

Sure it can be restricted at first....only 10 custom ones, no more than 50 characters or so, but I think it's a good medium for not having a text chat option in game.


Say you want to spend some time trading some loot you found or resources. You could create messages that are more specific than "Do you want to trade?" So you can spare yourself from that awkward moment when the person interested at first slams the trade window closed because he doesn't want iron ore.
