how do destruction staffs exactly work?

are normal attacks influenced by buffs like "Increase spell/spell crit damage" etc, and Status influence like "decrease opponents spell/elemental resistance"? and in a Special case, by "molten weapons"?
if so, can i just blindly use every spell buff without actually fighting with spells but only with the staff, or are there inconsistencies?

✭Yes, yes and yes.
Molten weapons however only effects heavy attacks and "not fully charged" heavy attacks (aka medium attacks). It does not affect light attacks.Guild: STACK n BURN (gm) PC - NA
