Werewolf

I was curious to know if your werewolf skill has to be a certain lvl before you can bite someone else and turn them? I have heard both things and thought if I could get a straight answer it would be great.

You have to have the "bloodmoon" passive, you unlock that at rank 6 in the werewolf skill line

While being a vampire or werewolf the skill line for either one has to be level 6 and you need a specific passive. For vampire you need the perk "Blood ritual" and werewolfs need "bloodmoon" and they can only bite once every 7 days and only at the ritual site.

Alright I've a friend that has been a werewolf for longer than seven days, but only just unlocked the "bloodmoon" passive ability. Does he now have to wait an additional seven days to infect me with the werewolf disease? Or are we just incapable of figuring it out due to general ineptitude?

Are you at the WW shrine?
I think you have to be by the shrine to be able to infect another player.

Yeah, we were at the shrine. And yes I'm pretty sure that is one of the requirements. I assumed the seven day counter started after he unlocked bloodmoon, since we couldn't figure it out. We were limited in time, though. Is there something specific he should do after transforming? It's just the "Devour" skill right?

The Biter has to change to WW form to do the biting. Sometimes it bugs out and you have to move away from the shrine to get it to work.

Haven't done it in a long time but I believe it is.

The only thing I can think of that would normally prevent you from being bitten is if your already infected with vampirism. If your not already infected with something and still can't get bitten then it's probably bugged out which unfortunately happens. If that's the case you may have to try transforming a few times, moving away from the shrine, button mashing or dancing around the character until it works.

Alright, thanks for the help. I Think he may have been trying to just melee me, instead of the bite. Like I said, we didn't have a lot of time to trial and error it out. I appreciate all the input.
