Why do you need so many guilds?
Yes, I would either like the option of making the 5 guild limit on the character, or I would like to have to option of joining more guilds, say, 20 - 25.

All The Best
No, I wouldnt, I would actually prefer less. In this case it will make players focus more on a particular Guild.
The more guilds a player is a member of, the less likely that player is to actually be an active member of any given guild. That's why having a large number of guilds is bad - it leads to more indifferent guild members, and that makes each guild worse. Active guild members are what makes a guild good.

Everyone should have:
5 shared guilds per account
1 individual guild per character
Crown Store should have
+1 shared guild slot - 1000 Crowns (5 purchasable per account)
ESO+ should have:
+2 shared guild slots
+1 individual guild slot

I couldn't disagree with you more. I never interact with the other players in the trade guilds I belong to. I find that belonging to more PVP guilds makes me a far, far better member of each guild than if I belonged to that one exclusively. I understand where your logic is coming from, but in my experience it's counter intuitive.
I'm not really talking about trade guilds when i say that... This is what happens when you can only sell items through a guild kiosk....
If you have characters in every faction you have the following:
AD Trade Guild
EP Trade Guild
DC Trade Guild
PVP Guild
Fun Guild
That is your 5 right there as an example. In the end trade guilds should not even exist and they should be Trade Companies instead that a Guild can start up and then people join as "employees"/"explorers". Here is a real life example from 300+ years ago:
You work for the East India Trading Company
You are apart of the "guild" of the Free Masons
PS - Trade company employment should be per character and you should only be able to join 1

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I don't socialize with my trade guilds at all. I have guilds I do socialize with and on top of that trade guilds (which take up guild slots). I guess we look for different things in guilds - for me it's either trade - or guilds to socialize with and get to know. I do not PvP so I guess I don't understand why you would need so many PvP guilds and how that would help.

To a certain extent, though, the same thing applies, in that if you're not selling enough stuff to pretty much constantly have a lot of listings in each trade guild, then you're making those trade guilds worse. Trade guilds need their members to be active too, it's just a different type of active.
