I just wanna find Bananna Surprise recipe for my 1st writ. I am at lol 32 provisioning, but can't find that one.

Hey, for everyone here having troubles finding recipes to make foods for writs.. I just want to ensure you know some things...

Recipes are found in the zone for which level they are. AKA - Banana Surprise is a level 1 recipe which makes a level 1 food.. this means you'll find it in your factions first zone (Auridon, glenumbra, stonefalls).

If you're doing top tier provisioning writs (handing them into Craglorn) you will need VR5 recipes - these will be found in your Caldwell Silver zones (the faction you were sent to after completing your own)

You do not need to actually craft the food yourself. You can buy someone else's crafted food and turn it in for the writ.

So just to clarify, you mean I must purchase a potion with gold and not pick one up in the wild? I'm sure I had four eye grog on me but it never registered on my crafted list as well as banana surprise.

The Hollow City in Coldharbour is a great way to find level 30-veteran 5 recipes. Since none of the containers in the HC are owned, you don't need to steal them.

There are White loots drops of the food and drinks, and then there are the Crafted Green Foods and Drinks. The white ones do not count for the writs, and you will never find the Green ones as drops, only crafted by you or someone else.

Yes, the Green crafted ones are more powerful than the White dropped ones in case you were wondering.
