If people didn't insist so much on paying for bite, this wouldn't happen. Insist on free bites and this problem goes away.

Iam all for free bites, the only reason iam not giving any with my WW right now, its simply because i promissed it to my best friend, so iam just waiting for him to come online, and then ill resume the free bites. I mean, not all people in this are bad, after i cured my self from vampirism, and wanted to get back to WW, i went over to the WW altar hoping for a free bite, and even though i waited quite bit while getting outrageous messages with bite offers, i did eventually ran into a kind soul that bit me free of any charge whatsoever, so i guess there are people openly fighting paid bites. BTW to the guy claiming this spawn camping as RP, where in the world would it make sense for vampire hunters being vampires and killing other vampires to stop the spread of vampirism?! Same story for WW... Jeez.

Got mine in week 1 by dropping 10k gold. It aint all that hard.

And scammers are the worst, i must have met the worst of all, this dude, he bites someone right in front of me right? So few secs later he turns to me and sends me a message offering a bite for 8k... FacePalm... He had just bit someone... With me watching... Jeez...

So I am going to let you all in on a little known secret... The vampire spawn points where everyone camps for bites (the ones we all looked up on google :P) are not the only ones! There are literally tons of places that the Bloodfiend mobs spawn, you just need to get out there and look. I am not sure this is the same for WW as I was only after a vampire bite for my NB so far,, but I am assuming it would be. I spent 3 nights (because I wasn't 100% sure about the moon phases) looking for bloodfiends and on the last night found a group of 3 standing in the middle of nowhere. Got my bite, died with dignity, and went along my way. Out of curiosity I returned to the location a closer to the end of the night and the 3 mobs were still there. This means that these players who think they are controlling the "bite market" are not nearly as smart as they think they are. Don't play into their hands... Go out and look for more spawns and make these people waste their time. I have friends who have also got their bite outside of the major locations, so I know I am not wrong. Don't give up because some jerks try to make things hard. Go around them and let them wallow in their greed.

Now all of that being said, in relation to the topic I agree 100% that these people that are killing these mobs just to extort profit from other players are the worst kind of mmorpgers. We are playing a game that pits us against other alliances. The players in the world around us when we are not in Cyrodiil are our allies. I think it is nothing short of ridiculous to go out of the way to disrupt the other players in my own alliance just for some profit. I would much rather see those players get strong and buld good characters so that when I am o the battlefield beside them and we are taking a keep, I can feel some measure of pride in the strength of my alliance and not just in my own character.

Personally, I would like to see a forum go up and have these people that are doing this screenshotted and posted. At least when I am roaming Cyrodiil looking for fights and I see some lone player getting ganked, I don't have to wonder if jumping in to help them means I am helping someone who only helps themselves or who intentionally detracts from the game experience of others. This might not be the best solution, but I can't help but feel some of these people might be deterred if they were made a target themselves. After all they are targeting other people, and turning their table on them is hardly an unfair solution.I don't condone bullying on any level and I realize there is a risk of such a list being used to harm the experience of these players, but having the names of these people in order to completely avoid interacting with them is something I could get on board with. Many other mmorpgs have suffered similar problems, such as gear ninjas and scammers, and the response from communities is often to make these players publicly known so that the damage they do can be mitigated and truly discouraged. Then again, some players thrive off of notoriety and being disliked so this may provide little solution and only cause more problems. Just an idea anyways.

By the same logic, killing a group of random mobs someone else was targeting would also interfere with their experience. As would snatching a material node they intended to harvest. Or picking a chest they spotted but couldn't get to quickly enough.

It's a multiplayer game. You'll have other players doing stuff you don't like sometimes. There are easy ways to deal with the vampire/werewolf issues, such as joining guilds and asking there for bites, or checking one of the dozens of discussions that have been created for the purpose of offering/getting bites. The main thing, I'd say, is never buy a bite (remove demand and the supply will wither and die) and pass it along when you get it. Many people who QQ about not getting a bite are the first to start selling them (or scamming others) when they get it.

If you wiped out every single enemy, followed a player and stole every single node they wanted, or chest they tried to pick, yes, you are interfering with someone else's game. Griefing, in short. The players who keep killing the one spawn area are stopping people from getting a chance to get bitten. If the players really want to get bitten, they can check online maps for other spawn places. The pitas can't cover every single one.

Hopefully players will start to do what the pc players did, and give out free bites.

I never liked the fact that vampires walk around in the sun in the Elder Scrolls series, it's just bleh.... goes against the lore and horror of vamps bursting into flames in sunlight.

Also, where are silver swords? I use to keep an enchanted silver sword on me at all times in Skyrim just for vamps/werewolves. I should be dual wielding silver swords in pvp killing hordes of werewolves hahaha

You just made me think of a negative for vamps should be 10-20% health reduction during daylight and a 10-20% increase in health at night?

Is anyone following someone though? They are puppy guarding the spawn locations and killing the mobs that have no reflection on your progress through the game. Last time I checked you were not forced to become a VAMP or WW in order to beat the main story or complete any of the main quests.

Also can you specifically post where in the TOS is shows you can not spawn camp any mob or node you want in the game? I don't mean some general area I want the link and the quoted material.

Noticed this today. Quite pathetic really. Only way to stop it is for no one to buy the bites, and those who are WW give your bites away free and tell them to do the same.

Calm down man. Kiddies (and oldies) want to play vamps/ww to see how it is. Given a month or so, I'm sure you will see less of them. You're not required to play either nor is anyone required to play like you. Be like Cartman and do what you want.

This happened to me earlier, but luckily enough whilst i was cursing the vet 4 campers ( who already had vampirism ) i managed to see a spawned bloodfiend, dragged it to the 5 or 6 level 15-25 people there and we all got hit, curtrently level one vampire, but when level 6 i will be posting here to give out my first bite, and the just on the forums every week
