I keep getting lower level Provisioning Writs

So I just started doing writs and I can't help but wonder why I keep getting VI rewards and 10k inspiration but for enchanting I get IX and 20k inspiration. I am level V10 and all skills in the Provisioning line are maxxed except for hireling. I am taking all writs from the board in Craglorn. Any ideas?

✭Writs are based off of the crafting level passive that you have in that crafting line. Which means that if you were VR14, but hadn't leveled the provisioning passive up past 1/6, then you'd be getting provisioning writs for level 5-10 recipes.
The alternative would be to give you write that you don't have the skills to complete.1 -

Thanks for your input but yeah, by maxxed provisioning skill line I meant that I do have every passive in Provisioning capped out (except for hireling). ✭Sorry, must have missed that. Doesn't Provisioning cap at 6/6 though, unlike the other crafts which go up to 9/9?0 -

This news pleases me, I appreciate the info. The trouble I had was the 'bog-iron ale' I seen the finished product in a guild store, but I was under the assumption YOU had to make it. This is going to make me happy when I get off work and finish my first provisioning writ.0 -

Then I had a person agree to sell me a stack of 10 - didn't negotiate well and the person charged me several hundered for it. No, you need the item - a version that has been crafted by someone - doesn't have to be you. I collect recipies on one character first, and she is in charge of all the provisioning. Make sure it is the Green Crafted item, not the White Dropped or Looted item that you buy. A number of the foods and drinks are available as common loot, they are white in text in the name. Those do not count towards Writs.
Oh, and the odds are you will be asked to make the Clarified wine again, so buy a stack of 10 or 20 if they are cheap. By cheap, I mean about 3 to 5 gold each. More expensive than that, then buy one/few at at time until you find the recipe as a writ reward, which you will.
