Feeding/healing spiders very hard to target

When fighting multiple spiders and one runs off to feed/heal.. am I the only one that has a heck of time targeting it? Its almost always done recharging before i get a chance to interrupt it. Its like it hides down inside the corpse.

I just attack the ones that aren't feeding. Not like spiders are incredibly hard to kill anyways.

On that note, I'm surprised at the amount of people who sit there and try to do damage while enemies are healing, from close range, as if they don't know how to interrupt.

true, which is why i usually am AOe'n a bunch.. if i had one targeted and it did that it would be different... but its usually several running to heal off the first dead... then I have this issue fairly often.

You have to Interrupt Healers or they just won't die, or die easily.

It's either both Mouse Buttons or a Key that you Bind to the Operation. Not sure what would be the best way to do this, I use the Mouse for now.

But, you have to Interrupt Healers or you won't have success.

i understand that... I'm saying that they shouldn't be so hard to target to get out that interrupt. I can't target them when they're crouched down in a corpse from more than 10ft away.

I have noticed this issue recently as well; when fighting spiders I have trouble targeting the ones feeding.
Even if I'm right next to the healing spider, I can't even target it to interrupt it...

When they start breaking of the fight you can asume they are going to some corpse to feed/heal themself.
Consider putting them as your locked target (tab) while they are still running.

I never had any issues interrupting them, asuming I am playing melee (wich means I am close anyway). If I play range, of course I have issues to interrupt.

Yeah, that would be a solution.. except I'm forced to use a controller due to hand issues..(can't work 10hours a day with a mouse in hand and then do the same at home..its killing me)
i dont have space for the one extra function to target... it sucks. (esp in PVP)

Got a Bow? or Staff? Most distance weapons have a Knock Back effect skill that stuns. One Handed Shield? Use Shield Charge at least to close the distance, but it should stun them too. NB, use Lotus Fan to close the distance, then stun. There are ways to get in close.

But, yes, in Melee, you have to get into their face to Interrupt.

However, I have taken to letting the healers heal, I figure it just drags out their death longer and makes it more painful if I am wailing on them while they heal. Ouch-Heal-Ouch-Heal-Ouch. I always get the last Ouch in.

Just went through an Xpadder forum... they plan on allowing the big center button to get used in later versions. It can't come too soon... I'm jonesing bad for just one extra function.

This has been broken for so long and is annoying. You can stand right next to them and interrupt but you go throuh them. You have run all round to find the magical spot that lets it recognise you interrupt.

I know your pains, OP. It's not only that situation, but elsewhere as well, sometimes enemies stand on top of corpses and all I can target is the corpse.

Two possible solutions, one of which is not helpful and the other may be limited to PC.

Every non-targeted AoE will hit them still. While you don't kill them that way easily, you can at least limit their healing retained. Also, as long as they feed, they don't damage you. Kill all other guys first as some poster advised.
On PC, you can highlight and prioritize a target by hitting the tab key. Since tab doesn't select corpses, you should get that spider on your first key stroke which will then make the targeted abilities like bash ignore the corpse.

That said, this was a non issue some time ago. They messed up targeting some patch in between.

Yes, the dead spiders break line of sight so you can't target the feeding ones. It doesn't just affect interrupt, you can't use anything on them that requires a target. Can be a bit annoying, but I got used to it after a while.
