New WW.....am I bugged?

whoa_dammitub17_ESO
Became a WW last nite, stayed in hunting grounds and levelled to 7, put point into being able to turn someone and two other passives. Came out of hunting grounds and tried to bite someone at the alter- could not get it to allow me. Do you have to wait a week after being turned even if you have the bite ability? Is there a counter somewhere that tells you what your cooldown is?? I hunted through every menu looking and couldn't find anything......

The regular counter shows up in your character sheet as a buff - if you have bitten someone. I never tried right after doing the quest though. I have found it quite finicky though.. I had the buttons pop up, then go away, I had to run away from the shrine and back in and target the person I was biting - the second the buttons popped up I hit them. Seemed if I waited they would go away and I couldn't get them back again

OK- the only thing in my character sheet is the info about lycanthropy- the stamina stat and the damage from poison......so, technically I should be able to bite then........

Yes, but as I mentioned.. mine was pretty finicky. I also found you have to be pretty close to the shrine. Get the person to stand wherever and stay put.. run out of the "biting" area and back straight to them.

You need the timer of WW form to start ticking down to be able to Devour ... best way is to change to WW form away from the shrine, kill something and feed (as long as you don't completely refill the timer) on the way to the shrine .. Devour should then be easily available for your target player.

Not really a bug, its poorly designed ... you can't Devour unless you actually "need to".... works the same way as it always has done, like this on PC too. Took me ages to work this out, was extremely frustrating before I managed to decipher the actions required.

Everyone knows the phenomenon of trying to hold your breath underwater - how at first it's alright and you can handle it, and then as it gets closer and closer to the time when you must breathe, how urgent the need becomes, the lust and the hunger to breathe. And then the panic sets in when you begin to think that you won't be able to breathe - and finally, when you take in air and the anxiety subsides...that's what it's like to be a vampire and need blood.
