release patch before going live?

I don't know if it's possible but what about releasing a patch a couple days before going live with it? This would solve alot of complaints

    They have never done that, and they won't start now.

    I'm not complaining but to me it would solve alot of problems.

    What would solve a lot of problems is if they would actually test the patch before they release it. That's why we have a PTS test server. But they rarely use it.

    Is it just me or doesn't that make sense.... release patch before it goes live. It's a patch to fix bugs generally. Lets test it first and then send it live.......?

    They fix bugs, make improvements and can test on their end
