Please understand that we don't come onto these forums to simply sing the praises of how awesome this game is. Many of us go on here to report problems and issues and to ask questions and get information. If you feel there is a certain degree of negativity you are not mistaken, but that doesn't mean that we don't also love this game, it just means we want to see it become better. It will always have room for improvement. Don't discount our legitimate complaints and concerns as simply hatred.v3ng3anc3420 wrote: »So iv been reading over some posts on th fourms and seeing alot of mixed opinions on diffrent aspects of the game and i realized it must SUCK to be a dev. I could not put so much work into something and then see so many people trash it. I realize the devs cant make everyone happy, whats great about the game for some players is the same thing thats wrong to another playerYou cant ever please everyone. I just wanna say I LOVE THIS GAME .
I enjoy the game. Ive spent a year playing it even. That doenst mean im not critical of it.

How many people i saw posting almost exactly same posts in first month of pc ESO. And how many of them started soon to a) dissapear from forums b) bumped on some issues themselves and started posting messages "ZOS i love your game but.."
c) lucky few still post to this day "I know that... but i still enjoy that game".
Wonder to which category will you fall?

Such is life. No different for anyone working with the public. Customers are always very quick to point out the negative. Very few praise the positive.

I read many posts in other sections of the forums.
There are two types of complaints.
The first complaint is the one where the poster complains about a feature in the game and then offers a suggestion to fix the mentioned problem. These complaints I don't mind reading and will, on occasion, respond to.
The second complaint comes from the entitlement side of society. Those who believe because you pay for a game, the developers should bow to your every whim and suggestion. It is these complaints that I find the most humorous.
I often wonder if people truly realize the intensity of the game they are playing. How much man hours went into even the most beginning area. How it keeps persistent data. The fact that you can call a horse, it appears, and you can ride it across the plains. Crafting your own gear that changes your character look when you wear it. Multiples races with unique traits and looks. The many skills and their individual graphical displays. Monsters with AI. The ability to pit your character against another character. Swimming, fishing, riding, falling damage, distance rendering, moon phases, player vampires, player werewolves, weather, alliance wars... This list goes on. And in all of this, it is multi-user.
As a programmer, I greatly appreciate all the work that has been put into this game. I appreciate the fact that they are maintaining the software and improving upon it. I don't expect these things, and I welcome every attempt made.
So, I make this suggestion for anyone wanting to express a complaint or dissatisfaction. They did not make the game for YOU. If you do not spend another dime, it will still be here and others will still play it. Just because you pay the subscription, doesn't mean they work for you. It means you get the perks you pay for, nothing more. If you want something changed, offer a suggestion and let others weigh in on it. Intelligent, thoughtful criticism will carry more weight, and has the greatest chance of being implemented.
And I happen to think that this is the greatest game I own, thus I love it more than my other games.

Love it when someone tells folks they're a programmer and says that they get it.
You could throw a rock in any direction and hit a programmer that is playing this game.
I threw a rock and hit a game dev, 2 app programmers, 2 add-on devs, and someone who graduated valedictorian at a tech school. Do I get a prize?coryevans_3b14_ESO wrote: »PermaStudent wrote: »I read the posts here.
