Will a new mount retain all of the current riding skills that I already have?

So basically I'm planning on buying a new mount from the crown store (the new lioness that just released, just because I think it's sick). I understand that all mounts have the same stats regardless of how expensive or what creature said mount is, and I know mounts are shared across characters. What I was wondering is, well say I currently have a mount with 10% riding skills in speed, if I were to buy a new mount from the crown store (assuming it's the same as purchasing with gold) would my new mount still have 10% in speed? Pretty sure it would but I'm just checking for good measure.

Your mount will retain the 10% speed but for that character only. Basically any leveling up you do for your character's riding will stick with that character, regardless of the mount. But if you were to use a different character, you wouldn't have the 10% speed increase (or any other upgrades you have on it).

Since 1.6, it's your character that has riding skills, and no longer the mount that has attributes. So all your horses will have the same stats, since they are determined by your character's riding skills.

So say you have a basic horse, that has 30% speed and 20 points into stamina, if you buy a mount on the crown store, it will have 30% speed and 20 points into stamina as well.

All of your characters's riding skills will remain as they are. Buying new mounts won't affect any of your character's riding skill.
