No chest drop at end of Anchor Battle

I am a level 14 Wood Elf, Nightblade. Recently while in Auridon and battling at the Southern Anchor just outside Vulkhel Guard, it stopped dropping chests at the conclusion of the battle. If I battle at the other anchors on Auidon chests will drop at the end. I am curious why my character no longer receives chest at the Southern anchor. Is there a limit for each character tied to character level? Or is this just a glitch? Has anyone else experienced this?

If you're fighting mobs at the anchor who are far enough below you in level that they don't give you XP then you don't get a chest for the anchor. You only get a chest if they're within 5 levels of you, and if I recall correctly the mobs at that anchor are level 8.

The mobs must not be more than 5 levels below yours. For example, if you are level 15 and are fighting level 15 mobs, you will get XP and loot. As soon as you hit level 21 though, you will no longer receive loot and XP from those mobs

^^ There's no limit to how many chests you get... The only limitation is that it has to be within 5 or less of your level (I think that's the range)... So I'd /bug this if not.

That's your problem. The mobs on that anchor are what, level 8 or so?

Too low for you to get any XP or loot ...

I think most people here have gathered information from fansites, or most likely from experience and reading patch notes. Unfortunately there is SO much to know in this game that having somewhere that mentioned all these little things would be outrageous haha.

Now that you're playing, try to read the patch notes - this will help you learn stuff. As well, feel free to keep asking questions on the forums! (of course, if you can't find a semi-recent thread already about the topic)
