So...the server went down to be patched.
It should take about 8 hours...at least this is my experience with server patches.
No biggie.

My question...

Does the "countdown" keep going for the Horse Upgardes at the stables while the servers are down?
So, if they are down 8 hours, will that time still count towards the time remaining until we can pay for the next point?

Not a big deal, but...the server is down, and I am bored. ;)

EDIT:

NEWS!
At 6am this morning, right before the servers were taken down for the patch, I started two of my characters for Horse Upgrades...20 hours.
At 1pm I came back on and only TWO HOURS are left.
The server patch actually LOWERED the amount of time for the upgrades by TEN HOURS!

I will have to try this with weapon/armor research. hehe

    Yes, things like riding skills, crafting activities (research and hireling deliveries) etc. continue unaffected.

    Basically think of them as a 'timestamp' when something completes rather than a counter counting down in real-time. :)

    I was hoping it just did a time-compare system, instead of an on-server-countdown system.

    Horse and research timers are realtime. They stop not for man or mer.
    Just because you don't like the way something is doesn't necessarily make it wrong...

    Earn it.

    IRL'ing for a while for assorted reasons, in forum, and in game.
    I am neither warm, nor fuzzy...
    Probably has checkbox on Customer Service profile that say High Aggro, 99% immunity to BS
