Deconstruction of all found gear or gear made by someone else is by far has the greatest IP gains.

NEVER break down what you created! IP is so low it is a waste. (UNLESS it was made from an alternate character of yours)

Crafting Buddies and passing back-n-forth is the easiest way to level a craft (Blacksmith/Clothier/Woodworking/Enchanting)

I have found that some guild stores will sell some decent stuff for deconstructing at cheap prices if you want to spend gold to help level up your BS skill. Best thing I have found is if you find an area that has chests and mats, create yourself a little farming route. The chests almost always give you a weapon or armor piece, and you can collect mats to make stuff (like for writs) at the same time. The starter islands seem to always have a couple of areas with lots of mat nodes and simple chests. The advice given prior to mine is all solid advice as well, especially having a trade buddy, you each make stuff and swap it for deconstruction. I do recommend you invest at least one skill point in the BS passive that gives you a better chance of getting mats when deconstructing an item (if you have not already). It makes a pretty big difference in how often, how much, and what you get when deconstructing.

im not sure what the going rate is but ill give a fair price for them i mean they are iron ore so prolly something like 20-50 gold per i just dono the average price
