Character / Account name toggle request

I think this is a great game but I find replacement of character names with account names to be very anti-immersive for a game of this nature. Perhaps have the character name visible in the open world and display the account name via the character inspection would be a better compromise? I tried dozens of names before I got one that wasn't taken, only to find out that no one can see it except me. I hope they change that soon.
