Bloodfiend Campers reach the consoles.
So, i was on a personal quest to become a vamp a few time ago (no longer am a vamp), and so me and my buddy did a lot a research and found that the most plausible theory going around was, that bloodfiends would spawn radomly at certain days as soon night time hit the game environment, so one day my friend gets very lucky, and spots a bloodfiend spawn standing near of what it seemed 4 distracted afk players, he runs over and gets hit a few times until suddenly the 4 players jump the bloodfiend and kill it in seconds, my friend then notices something rather peculiar, all 4 players had vampiric features to their faces and skin color. Later that day he calls me and we go over the same spot to try my luck, surprise surprise, a lot of vamps start showing up, and lucky me because moments before the bloodfiends spawn, some village idiot starts an all out brawl with a few mobs right there, that ends up distracting everybody but me that was on focus mode, and soon as i know it, bloodfiends spawn, iam first to spot them, i draw their attention, and iam sucessfully infected, then suddenly the vampiric faction standing nearby, eradicate them in a matter of seconds before anyone else is even able to get a scratch, my point is, i got nothing on ppl trying to make bussiness out of bites, but trying to eradicate spawns for more profit, thats stepping the line right there, if ppl wish to make use of game mechanics like monster spawns to get bit, then so be it, dont ruin it for them and if others wish to pay then pay, just dont go around ruining the game for everyone in the name of profit. I would like to hear to what you guys have to say about this.
I love when i get to download 15gb of worthless data just to get the 500mb patch, its just like waiting for the whole cake to be done when all you want is just the little cherry on the top, hmm Yumi!

smokes✭✭✭it's a crappy move, the vampire/werewolf npc's that give out the bites should be phased out from vampire/werewolf players to avoid griefing

The_Sadist✭✭✭✭✭People suck, this happened on the PC version of the game as well and it made quite a few people angry. Eventually vampirism and lycanthropy will be spread to friends who in turn will spread it to guild mates and suddenly there's no profit to be made which will deter these sort of players from camping the spawn points.

lsneakl✭✭✭Be nice if we could get a vampire hunter reward each day based on the number of Vampires we killed. Be nice if non vamps and we could kill player vamps but they could not touch us. Be nice well if being a vamp and ww could be identified like the justice system so NPCs hunted them down if someone saw them in monster form.
If we are fixing things and complaining i want the above so I can hunt down your blood sucking butt all over the world. These deseases need to be eradicated and that's the way the game should act. I'm quite indifferent, they shouldn't have to phase the mobs out, but at the same time people do suck and it could be worthwhile. All in all wait a month and you could ask in zone for a free bite. ✭✭✭✭✭Nothing to do about that except for maybe joining a guild and asking for a bit, then spreading it around for free. That's what I do.
If the PC version is any indication, the bloodfiend/werewolf camping should die out in a few months as more bites become available for free. The only time I notice a resurgence of this issue was when the game went B2P and a lot of people came back.1 -

iTzStevey✭✭✭What gets me is that theu actually spemd pretty much all their playtime either killing spawns or scamming people for bites. Its pathetic and the bloodfiends and werewolves should either be invisible to you omce you're a vampire or or theu should change them from bloodfiends to ancient vampires that are extremely hard to kill.0

I think what they should do is make the bloodfiends and werewolves invincible like the guards are so nobody can kill them and make them immune to stuns knockbacks CC etc. But also make it so they only appear for about 20 minutes at night time before they disappear to keep up the rarity of them. It would stop people from spawn killing them. It would make many more people happier.0

✭QQ it is called roleplaying. They are role playing to help stop the spread of infection among the people of tamriel. ROLE. PLAYING. ESO is a game focused heavily on it and anyone who will try to stop people from role playing are usually met with fierce aggression from GMs in game. But if you hack or exploit, GMs dont react.
Moral of the story is this: You cant have people stop roleplaying just to fix what you want :P we pc users had to deal with this for 3 months before they got tired of defending tamriel, and most of us were lucky enough to get a bite. When we got it (though I got rid of it cuz lets be real, vampires and ww suck lol )we felt accomplished. You really are not missing out, in fact these people are doing you a HUGE service as being WW or vamp really isnt that amazing.
Sure you could argue that their roleplay is hurting your roleplay, but nothing would be done because thats life0 -

Sithisvoid✭✭✭✭✭A lot of the kids looking for bites are outright horrible people as well. For instance I went out to WW shrine this week with my bite. Saw all the ppl begging and getting scammed, so i made them an offer. I bite one if each one passes it on to the next guy standing there, that way everyone gets a free bite. It's an awesome method because after completing the quest to become ww you can stay in hircine's portal and when you transform into WW it's permanent. Then you kill the animals there until rank 6, spend the skillpoint in bloodmoon and you can walk out the portal and infect someone else. Long story short one of the buggers took the bite and ran off into the night laughing. Not helping people anymore.
EDIT- I see people saying being WW "isn't amazing" Well let me add this, I get 15% stamina regen in combat with my tank and have ZERO downsides/weaknesses because I don't transform therefore i am not weak to poison. Seems pretty amazing to me.Edited by Sithisvoid on June 24, 2015 12:55PM1 -

I'm on console as well, are we "required" to become ww or vamp otherwise we are "gimped" at end game? Why are so many players clamoring to become ww and vamps? I kid you not when I say every other player is a vamp or ww.
I see soooo many of them in pvp I actually dropped a few points into fighters guild skills for + damage to vamps/ww. I thought this was Elder Scrolls Online not Twilight Scrolls Online?
I never liked the fact that vampires walk around in the sun in the Elder Scrolls series, it's just bleh.... goes against the lore and horror of vamps bursting into flames in sunlight.
Also, where are silver swords? I use to keep an enchanted silver sword on me at all times in Skyrim just for vamps/werewolves. I should be dual wielding silver swords in pvp killing hordes of werewolves hahaha0
