Race/Build for Sorc ? (Leveling from 1-50)

So going to roll a Sorc from 1-50 and wondering whats best race and build for leveling and able to solo world bosses and public dungeon with ease ?

swanvalkyrie✭✭Not sure about the best race, but i'm a Breton (good magicka boost) and I've been doing really well with the daedric summoning to help distract enemies, using destructo staff. Im doing better being a mage with a sorcerer, than my old character being Breton nightblade, with vampirism as a warlock pretty much0 -

Perfect choice.
Altmer would be the next best choice because of the magicka pool and elemental damage.

✭✭Assuming you are going to be a DPS character then Altmer is tailor made for a sorc.
It's got the same magicka & regen increase as a Breton, but no other race can come close to the elemental damage increase of the Altmer... it works perfectly with the shock spells of the Sorc...
Bretons are second because they have good magicka boosts, but nothing to aid your dps.GM of the Unholy LegacyPC/EU/EP0 -

My previous character was a Breton NB too! She was terrible in fights though, I'm having better luck as a Dunmer Sorc although I'm regretting not going with the Altmer.Stealing sweet rolls.0
