v1 in non-veteran campaign

I saw someone went v1 and play with his buffs because you know, when you achieve that level you are no longer restrained and get all the stats upped.

Now I guess someone was lvl 49, then turned v1, then starting having real fun with his superiority.

So my opinion is that the xp rewarded should stop at 99.9% when you are lvl 49 and in non-veteran campaign.

And could never re-enter it again when v1.

Non-veteran mean non-veteran. No v1, its a no. NOPE.

(PS: I have a v12 character and played my little lvl 32 nightblade with a guildie to have fun and I was kinda disapointed for that matter.)

I never felt that lvl 49 vs v1 isn't all that different. Unless you give the v1 bunch of legendary gear. But you could do the same thing to lvl 49.

I turned vr1 in the non vet campaign. Once you log out, you cannot re-enter it. That's fine because it would be really lame if you got kicked out during a siege because you levelled.

Maybe not get kicked, but a system that should stop the progression of the xp at 99.9% of lvl 49 would be great.

So if you never log out, then you can get up to v12 in that campaign?

Maybe the Cyrodiil crashes were intended to prevent people from doing this. :p

I just got an alt to VR1 and was a bit confused. I could have sworn my first character hit level 50 after 49, and didn't get VR1 until the main story line had been completed.

Did something change, or am I just "misremembering."

Nah. I don't think it would be that great. It would merely be exploited in that players would leave their character in campaign forever to always be at the top of the food chain. Just leave it. Any added prowess due to 1 level is marginal. Let someone enjoy the moment with their bros until they log out.

This is bumping an old thread, but I am on XB1 and would like to know what happens now when I Reach VR1 in a non-veteran campaign? I would love to try to make a run for emperor but how would that even work if i level up when i dont want to?

When you hit v1 you are screwed as your stats will be complete and utter garbage. You will be less useful than a lvl 10.

This must be some new console bug because in Blackwater Blade when I turned V1 I lost the non vet buff and my health dropped from 30K to 12K.

I didn't stay long as I actually felt like a liability to my team.

Oh crap just realized this is a necro thread! lol

My main hit VR1 before completing the main quest, completed it, and then saw what was offered.

    Subsequently rolled a new character.

Am I getting from this thread that, at level 50 you become a veteran and progress from there and that, when you become a veteran level 1 you're basically back at square one again?

What's the point of becoming a veteran then and how on earth do you progress to the next veteran level.

I wish I had more time in my life to surf the web on this stuff.

Lol... when you "vet out" in the non-vet campaign yes you can stay there as long as you don't log out but instead of being more powerful like some of you seem to think, you become cannon fodder when you lose your bolster to V12... run around in that campaign with 15K health instead of 30k and see how you do.
