Today, I show the community this screenshot I found in a french guild forum. My question is simple. Is it intended to be able to grind my CP till my eyes bleed and be WAY ahead of everyone ?

I mean, personally I have around 250 CP. I mostly PvP with one of the best guild around and there is no way I'll ever catch up to this grinding machine. I've got the inital 70 CP, then played the game as it is. I hate grinding, but I seriously play the game 28+ hours a week, sometimes even more.

I know the person who has 700 CP and I can tell he grinded day and night at the same place, over and over again. I'm not telling this guy is wrong. I think that the system is the problem. If one has the patience to stop playing the game as it is and just grind endlessly, then be it.

But the system is not rewarding hardcore players, who plays the ACTUAL game.

The system is rewarding grinding, and it's unfortunate.

    EDIT: typo

He will quit soon ..and represents .001 of the player base... Plus he has no life...

you are going to find this behavior in any mmorpg. those that can put in this amount of time will always reap the most out of it the fastest.

MMORPG's are an investment of time more than anything, and the more time you put into them in the short term the more rewards you get.

that being said, these people are outliers. they could also be account sharing.

Well there are only a limited number of grind spots at VR14. If too many people are grinding there, the XP/Hour Drops to the floor. Cyrodil has a hadfull of good spots. Cracked Wood Cave beeing the best, People grinding 24/7. I suggest if you have nothing to do and hate grinders, grab a group of 20 guys, head there, and camp it. You will have fun pvp and slow down those pesky AD grinders. Me and my brother play DC and we regularly head there and gank. Its fun to troll.

Short version: CP's are a great idea with lousy implementation.
Just because you don't like the way something is doesn't necessarily make it wrong...

    Earn it.

IRL'ing for a while for assorted reasons, in forum, and in game.
I am neither warm, nor fuzzy...
Probably has checkbox on Customer Service profile that say High Aggro, 99% immunity to BS

Limit the amount of CP to lets say 1080. Problem solved. Or the more CP per day you earn the slower it goes (except the time you are enlighted).

    — They always claim they’re “investigating” the causes, but in reality they’re just waiting until the PC EU players go to bed. Once that happens, you can suddenly log in again and they happily mark the issue as Fixed.
